Title: Fact and Fancies Book Four: The New Silent Readers - A Basal Activity Series Format: Clothbound Hardcover Author: William Dodge Lewis, Pd.D. & Albert Lindsay Rowland, Ph.D. Illustrator: Florence L. Hoopes and Margaret Campbell Hoopes Year: 1930 Publisher: The John C. Winston Company Length: 368 Pages Dimensions: 5.5" wide by 7.75" tall Condition: Minor covers and spine wear noted. This book is an ex-schoolbook from the Forrest School - there are stamps from the district in both the front and back, inside covers. No writing, torn or missing pages noted. The book's binding has come a bit lose at the front of the book but all pages are still bound into the book. The illustrations in this book are everything you would expect from a book published in the early 1930's. They definitely have an art deco style/vibe to them. This book is the fourth in a series of New Silent Readers. The third book in this series, The Wonder World is also available in my shop for purchase. Both covers boast nautical themes - perfect for your beach or vacation home decor.
