Thanks so much, Wendy, for a fun walk down a very long-ago childhood time. Weekly Reader books were and are still my favourites from that time, all of which I still have. I read them to my children, and I hope to read them to any grands which may be coming soon in the future!
Wendy, your passion for saving these fine books from a different, glorious age means much to me. The love of reading is so very important. It is nice to know that there is such a full library of stock you curate to choose from for when I add to our own cherished library. I don't believe I had ever read "Andrew Henry's Meadow" until when I received this vintage copy from you. On your website I was drawn in by the pen-and-ink illustrations by Doris Burn. She had also illustrated one of my own and our family's regular favourites, "Old Black Witch" (which I traditionally still read aloud to all of us adults for Halloween to this day)...thus I simply had to buy "Andrew Henry's Meadow"! I love it!
Thank you for filling my order quickly in quality packaging which arrived in perfect condition, all for a nice price. Believe me when I say I continue to peruse your inventory for perfect little gifts for myself and our family, and there are many books I have added to my personal wish list.
Thank you, again, Wendy. It's been a pleasure doing business with you, and I look forward to doing more.
