Condition:  Minor cover and spine wear noted especially around the edges. There is names written on the half title pages of Volumes two and three. No other writing noted.  No torn or missing pages noted.  These editions are tightly bound with no damage to the hinges. I noted a bit of foxing (age spots) to the half title pages) and some page wrinkles at the beginnings of each volume due to years of being read over and over again.

Love a Good Story:  Born in England, Arthur Maxwell became a writer of children's stories & soon became affectionately known as Uncle Arthur. His simple stories are morality tales that illustrate values such as honesty, diligence, obedience, and selflessness. In addition to this series, he also wrote a Bible Story series as well.  He was part of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
