Condition: The dust jacket of Mother Makes Christmas has seen a lot of wear over its lifetime. It has been written on in pencil, it is wrinkled and torn in many places. I kept it with the book because I always feel they should stay together even when worn and torn. There is an inscription on the inside cover as well as some foxing to both inside covers as well. No other writing is noted in this book and there are not torn or missing pages. The inside of the book is actually fairly clean for its age. It is tightly bound with no damage to its hinges.
Loise Lenki's Christmas Stories is an ex-library edition, so you know it was made to last and take the abuse of being handled by many little hands. Just think of the hours children read or were read this book over the years. Being an ex-library book, it does contain school stamps and notations commonly associated with library editions. The back, inside cover's endpaper has been removed. It is tightly bound with no damage to its hinges. There is the remnants of glue that held on a dust jacket on both inside covers.
