Condition: Cover and spine wear noted especially around the edges. There is an inscription inside of The Harvester and a name written on the inside cover of Michael O'Halloran. No other writing noted. No torn or missing pages noted. Each book is tightly bound despite the front hinges being cracked in Michael O'Halloran. The spines show discoloration - the result of years sitting on a bookshelf in the sunlight. These have been well-loved and read over the years. There is a bookplate inside of The Harvester. There are page smudges, marks and a page tear or two that have been repaired with scotch tape as shown in the photos.
The unique thing about these editions is the inclusion of an actual photograph of Gene Stratton-Porter that was taken when she was 61 years old. It shows her in the Limberlost. There are two notations with the photo as follows: "Gene Stratton-Porter at age 61", and what appears to say "Visited Limberlost July 20, 1930, E. C. W". (E. C. W. is Edna C. Waugh - her name is written in the inscription on the inside cover of the book.
