Condition: Cover and spine wear noted especially around the edges of the dust jacket. The signature of renowned, Bucks County, PA Artist, Charles Hargens is noted on the inside cover. There is no other writing noted. There are no torn or missing pages noted. This edition is tightly bound with no damage to the hinges. As you can see from the photos, the back flap to the dust jacket has some damage to it. This goes through to the last page of the book as well - also shown in the photos. The inside dust jacket's flap has been clipped.
What makes this edition unique is the signature of artist, Charles Hargens. He was born in South Dakota and settled in Bucks County, PA in 1940. He is known for his old west paintings. He designed the cover of Pearl S. Buck's A Portrait of Marriage and was honored by the James Mitchner Museum on his 100th birthday.
