Condition: There is wear to the covers and spines on this set especially around the edges. No writing, torn or missing pages noted within the books. Each book is tightly bound with no damage to the spines. There is a minor tear to the bottom of the spine of Bambi as shown in the first photo. It was repaired with scotch tape at some point.
The Black Stallion won the 1944 Young Reader's Choice Award. Lassie Come Home won the 1943 Young Reader's Choice Award. Rascal was a 1964 Newbery Honor Book.
