Condition: These three volumes show minor cover and spine wear due to age and use over the years. No page tears or missing pages noted. All three volumes are tightly bound. There is some aging to the inside cover pages. No writing noted. There were leaves tucked into the pages of volume one years ago, which I have left in the book as noted in the photos.
Originally meant to be published as one volume, this set ended up in three volumes because the editor wanted to include “the best reading for children of all ages, and because I wanted to give you the whole stories or whom chapters from books just as the famous authors wrote them…”
