Condition:  Cover and spine wear noted especially around the edges. The number 12th star added to the flag has a red square around it in ink on the inside cover.  There are school stamps on the title page & a stamp opposite the half title page.  The half title page has a last name written in colored pencil above the title graphic (see photos).  This edition is tightly bound & no missing pages are noted.  There are a few page tears (also shown in photos) on pages towards the back of the book.  Not surprising considering this was a schoolbook & was probably well-read over the years.  The back inside cover has some minor damage noted - looks as though maybe a library card pocket was removed?
